Halloween Weekend

This weekend for Halloween I might go to parties Friday and Saturday nights.  I also have to work Saturday and Sunday night.  On Halloween I will probably just hang out with friends.

Paid Dress Down Day

I think the school raised about $1,000 because just about everybody dressed down today. I don't mind paying for dress down days as long as the money goes to a good cause.

Dress Down Day

Tomorrow we have a dress down day for $1.  The dollar donations will go to Redeemer Radio.  The donations will help the radio station.  You can wear pretty much anything except for sweatpants, yoga pants, and anything inappropriate.

The election for Fort Wayne mayor is tight into the last month.  Paula Hughes has a plan for a safety academy to help guide her in the election.  She is accusing Tom Henry of taking city control over this plan.

IPFW Admission Requirements

Regular Admission to a Major

High School Class Rank
•General Admission - top 1/2 and cumulative G.P.A. greater than 2.79
•Engineering Technology Programs - top 2/3

Scholastic Aptitude Test I/American College Testing
•SAT I or ACT scores are required for recent high school graduates.
•1420 score on the SAT I (minimum score of 450 on each section);
•20 score on the ACT (minimum score of 19 on each section)
•Engineering - a minimum score of 480 (verbal), 520 (math) on the SAT I; or 21 (English), 23 (math) on the ACT

Academic Units
•General Admission - Indiana Core 40, Academic Honors, or Technical Honors Diploma
•Engineering - chemistry and math through trigonometry

Pass Indiana Statewide Testing for Educational Progress (ISTEP)
•Indiana applicants must have passed the End of Course Assessment (ECA) Exams

I think these requirements are fair and are for the good of the students enrolling. People who have similar skills are matched up together and that is the reason for tests grades and normal schooling gades.
