This weekend I have a soccer game to start it off tonight and I'm hoping to hang out with my friends the rest of the weekend.

Halloween

Halloween Weekend

This weekend for Halloween I might go to parties Friday and Saturday nights.  I also have to work Saturday and Sunday night.  On Halloween I will probably just hang out with friends.

Paid Dress Down Day

I think the school raised about $1,000 because just about everybody dressed down today. I don't mind paying for dress down days as long as the money goes to a good cause.

Dress Down Day

Tomorrow we have a dress down day for $1.  The dollar donations will go to Redeemer Radio.  The donations will help the radio station.  You can wear pretty much anything except for sweatpants, yoga pants, and anything inappropriate.

MIddle East News

Mohammed Gadhafi, leader of Lybia, has died.  His dictatorship has lasted over 42 years.  The prime minister has said many people have been waiting for this moment for a long time.

Fort Wayne Mayoral Election

The election for Fort Wayne mayor is tight into the last month.  Paula Hughes has a plan for a safety academy to help guide her in the election.  She is accusing Tom Henry of taking city control over this plan.

Yesterday there was a royal wedding in Buthan. This is the couple that got married.

•Engineering Technology Programs - top 2/3

Scholastic Aptitude Test I/American College Testing
•SAT I or ACT scores are required for recent high school graduates.
•1420 score on the SAT I (minimum score of 450 on each section);
•20 score on the ACT (minimum score of 19 on each section)
•Engineering - a minimum score of 480 (verbal), 520 (math) on the SAT I; or 21 (English), 23 (math) on the ACT

Academic Units
•General Admission - Indiana Core 40, Academic Honors, or Technical Honors Diploma
•Engineering - chemistry and math through trigonometry

Pass Indiana Statewide Testing for Educational Progress (ISTEP)
•Indiana applicants must have passed the End of Course Assessment (ECA) Exams

I think these requirements are fair and are for the good of the students enrolling. People who have similar skills are matched up together and that is the reason for tests grades and normal schooling gades.

2-Hour Delay

This morning I woke up at normal time and Michael told me we had a 2-hour delay.  I then slept until about 8:45.  I got dressed, ate doughnuts, and then came to school.

Homecoming Week

This week is home coming week and I'll just be dressing up with normal clothes with the theme.  Tomorrow I am thinking about coming as a cowboy or something but I'm not totally sure yet. This week I'm going to do what everyone else is doing like going to the football game Friday.  For NHS day, I'm going to be playing dodgeball with a group of my friends.

Back to School

Dear Parents,

So far in this class we have been learning about blogging on the internet and communicating with others in the class with this blogging site.  We are also learning about making web pages.  So far I have made a web site from the book and now I am creating one on my own.  It is a an autobiography about my life and its starting to look pretty good!

3 Day Weekend

This weekend I will be relaxing most of the time.  Tonight I will probably be going to the football game at North Side and then hang out with friends later that night.  For the rest of the weekend I will simply doing whatever I want at the lake until Monday night.

Hurricane Irene

Hurricane Irene was all over the news this weekend as it hit the eastern part of the U.S.  It wasn't all that destructive wind wise but it brought a lot of rainful which caused flooding.  Many people are without power. For now the hurricane is out of the U.S. but is still currently dumping rain in Canada.

My Chemical Romance-Ghost of You

This is a music video from one of my favorite bands.  Their band name is My Chemical Romance and this song is called The Ghost of You.  Music is one of the biggest parts of my life and I don't know what I'd do without it.

My Favorite Team

This a logo for my favorite sports team the Chicago Cubs.  I follow them very closely during the year and I try to watch as many of their games as I can.  If you see me outside of school, its likely to see me with some kind of cubs clothing.  I even have about six or seven shirts.  The Cubs are a big part of my life.

Weekend Weather

It looks like this weekend is gonna be an alright one weatherwise.  Temperatures should be in the mid to upper 80s most of the weekend with night time temperatures around 63 each night.  Friday will be partly cloudy most of the day with a possible thunderstorm in the evening.  Most of saturday has a chance of isolated thunderstroms but sunny besides that.  Sunday is going to be perfect with sun and a 0% chance of rain.

Summer

I had a pretty good summer this year.  I traveled to places like Florida and Tennessee for a few weeks mainly to see my family.  I also went to the lake just about every weekend and hung out with my friends as much as I could.
